A partial transcript of 'a faire antient booke in vellom, in the library of Sir Thomas Cotton baronet [now Cott. MS. Vesp. A. xii], wherein is lively depicted the whole storye or life of Richard Beauchampe, sometyme earle of Warwick', by John Rous (? 1411-91) (p. vii), followed by a copy with coloured reproductions of the miniatures, of the vellum roll of the earls of Warwick by John Rous from the original penes Robert Arden of Park Hall, esq., now in the College of arms (p. 1), with a tabula nominum on p. 115 and a note 'ex quodam MS. Johannis Rous remanente in bibliotheca collegii sancti Benedicti in academia Cantabr.' (MS. C.C.C.C. 110), concerning decayed villages in Warwickshire.
