- 'Whether the starres shine on the earth by reflection of Sun-beames' (fol. 6v)
- 'Why the sea increaseth by the entrance of Rivers' (fol. 20v)
- 'Why the wine of Egypt is smaller than that of Europe' (fol. 43)
- 'Whether our bodyes be hotter inwardly in Winter or in Summer' (fol. 58)
- Two additional discourses at the end (fol. 59) are theological
