Works by Brandr Jonsson, bishop of Hólar (d. 1264), written in the 17th cent.(?)
Consisting of the following adaptations from previously existing works:
- (fol. 5) Stjórn, a paraphrase of the historical books of the Old Testament
- (fol. 263) Rómwerja Saga, a Roman history
- (fol. 311v) Alexander's Saga
- (fol. 346v) Gyðinga Sögur, a history of the Jews from the Captivity to the fall of Jerusalem.
There are several rude miniatures and illuminations, one (of Adam and Eve) full-page (fol. 4v).
A MS. which had not in 1832 been printed.

A catalogue by Magnusen, dated 1828, is in the Library, and was printed in 1832 with the title 'Catalogus...codicum cliii manuscriptorum Borealium præcipuæ Islandicæ originis, ...autcore... Finno Magnæo, Islando'.
