Consisting of the following adaptations from previously existing works:

  1. (fol. 5) Stjórn, a paraphrase of the historical books of the Old Testament
  2. (fol. 263) Rómwerja Saga, a Roman history
  3. (fol. 311v) Alexander's Saga
  4. (fol. 346v) Gyðinga Sögur, a history of the Jews from the Captivity to the fall of Jerusalem.

There are several rude miniatures and illuminations, one (of Adam and Eve) full-page (fol. 4v).

A MS. which had not in 1832 been printed.

A catalogue by Magnusen, dated 1828, is in the Library, and was printed in 1832 with the title 'Catalogus...codicum cliii manuscriptorum Borealium præcipuæ Islandicæ originis, ...autcore... Finno Magnæo, Islando'.

With rough illuminations, binding, stamped leather on boards with brass comers and clasps, contemporary, with 'E S.'
