The life of Catharine of Aragon, in verse, by William Forrest, dedicated 'To the moste excellent and vertuous prynces, oure moste gratious soueraigne ladye, Marye', in stanzas of seven lines, preceded by a prologue, 'As nature hathe an inclynation' (fol. 1), and 'The Table' (fol. 3v), and entitled 'A true & most notable historye of a right noble & famous ladye produced in Spayne': beg. 'Wryters hathe manye endeauored their paynes' (fol. 11).

Custodial History
Formerly in the possession of Ralph Sheldon of Beoley (see Wood's Life and Times, ed. Clark, iii. 343), who gave it to Wood. The erased inscription on the flyleaf reads: 'Given and bequeathed ... à Wood by R[alph She]ldon of Beoly... .'
Physical Facet
On paper,'originally bound in black velvet, rebound in 1897, the old binding having been worn to shreds (E.W.B.N.)', with metal bosses inscribed 'Ave Maria, gratia plena'
