Miscellaneous papers relating to the visitations of the university of Oxford, given to Wood (and annotated by him) when he was writing his Historia by dr. Gilbert Sheldon (endorsed 'Sheld') and dr. Thomas Barlow (endorsed 'Bari'), supplementing the incomplete Register of the Visitors printed for the Camden Society (1881). They include:
- Autograph letters of dr. Samuel Fell (fols. 1, 123)
- Diaries of the visitation by John Newton (fol. 178), Thomas Barlow (fol. 301), and others (fols. 141, 191)
Fourteen leaves from the beginning of the volume have been misplaced at the end by the binder.
