Counter-Tenor part-book of Services (front) and Anthems (back, volume reversed), both indexed, mid-18th cent.
Much of the music present here is the same as that in the later section of MS. Mus. d. 164, and all of it is found in the other quarto books. Copied mid-18th cent. by various hands: fol. 54 rev. was written before W. Hayes became D. Mus. (1749) by the first hand of MS. Mus. c. 50, who on fol. 43v rev. wrote 'Mr' corrected to 'Dr' Boyce, and on fol. 40 rev. referred to Dr. Boyce (1749). In use in 1763 (see fol. 23).
