'The Compleat Hypocrite, or a lively Pourtraiture of Olliver Cromwell & the Rebell Army in England...', Written in 1653
'The Compleat Hypocrite, or a lively Pourtraiture of Olliver Cromwell & the Rebell Army in England, together with his Regicide Junto or Mock Parliament at Westminster, both vnder his command ... affectionately published ... as an humble Warning to all Princes & Potentates, & specially to the ... United Provinces of the Netherlands... In the yeare of our Lord: 1653.'
The preface is signed 'T. G.', and the period covered 1645-51: the text begins 'Though the superlative treachery.' The handwriting changes in several places and it is difficult to say whether the treatise is complete: while pages 109-12 seem to follow p. 27.
