  2. Fol. 47. a tabular pedigree of de Lacy from Henry Savile's collections, and another in narrative from a Kirkstall MS. in the custody of [Thomas] Fawkingham of Leeds, now no. 1174
  3. Fol. 63. court rolls of Wakefield, in the keeping of Henry Green, esq., of Sandal (fol. 63)
  4. Fol. 66. Templar deeds belonging to sir Henry Goodrich
  5. Fol. 76. a transcript concerning the foundation of the chapel of st. Clement in Pontefract, in the possession of sir Henry Savile, of which Harl. MS. 2101, fol. 228, in the British Museum is also a transcript
  6. Fol. 37. Ralph Starkey's collections relating to the foundation of the monasteries of Whitby, Bordesley, and Yarm

Fol. 96v. genealogical notes from the 'great blacke book' of Sir Richard St. George, relating to Fitz-Randolph, and, from his book of tenures, Dodsworth (fol. 104), with extracts 'ex registro evidentiarum de Argentine' (fol. 113v), some of which relate to the monasteries of Furness, Guisborough, Croxden, Kirkstead, and St. Thomas by Stafford (fol. 104), notes on the judges of England (fol. 117), and the Mountney family (fol. 152)

Fol. 114. a copy of the foundation charter and narrative of the rise of Horsham (Norfolk), 'ex antiqua pergamena in custodia Sampsonis Leonard, 1598'; copies of deeds of 'my Cosen Bosevill for the lo. D'Eville his right to Bernebrough [Barnbrough]' (fols. 146, 163v), of John Armitage, esq., of Kirklees (fols. 147, 169), and of Thomas Lewis, esq., of Marr, co. Yorks., concerning Willesthorp (W.R.) and Marr (E.R.) (fol. 148v)

At fols. 68,78v, 135, 150v, 153 are copies of deeds in St. Mary's Tower, York, including grants to Guisborough and other monasteries. There are also:

  1. Fol. 1. notes from public and private records from the collections of St. Loo Kniveton, the Nottinghamshire antiquary, from a copy lent to Dodsworth by Richard Gascoigne, with church notes of St. Mary's, Bristol (fol. 7)
  2. Fols. 57, 155v. examples of tenure by sergeanty, and miscellaneous genealogical and topographical notes from Gascoigne, 'liber AB', of which there is a list in Hunter's Three Catalogues, artt. 3-10
  3. Fol. 80. 'Abstracts of pleas out of a MS. I bought att Yorke and is now, 29 May 1632, in my owne custody. Itt is in paper in folio with this Δ marke in Dorso', from various plea rolls 28-34 Ed. i and of the 15th cent.
