MS. Dodsworth 100, 1641-1648, 120 leaves: 1. Fol. 1. 'In cartulario prioratus S. Andree apud Northampton penes Johannem Lambe, militem, 1 Aprilis 1641', now Cott. MS. Vesp. E. xvii in the British Museum: see also no. 5020.

2. Fol. 47. Copies made for Dodsworth from transcripts made by sir Thomas Shirley at Botolph Bridge, co. Hunts., 1641, of charters of lord Berkeley, concerning the family estates in Gloucestershire and Somerset, with other deeds relating to Berkshire, Devon, Northants., and Notts.

3. Fol. 71. Copies of deeds (fols. 71, 79, 92) in sir Christopher Hatton's 'book of seals', including:

  1. A charter of Henry ii to Breamore abbey, and evidences of sir William Constable, bart., of Flamborough and Holme in Spaldingmore, co. Yorks. (fol. 92)
  2. Fols. 78, 86. owned by John Constable, viscount Dunbar, in 1641 and 1648, relating to the Constable fee in Holderness, with a number of deeds of Lascelles of Ottringham

4. Fol. 103. Copies of:

  1. Fol. 103. grants to Bordesley abbey, from transcripts made by William Dugdale from charters of Clement Throgmorton, esq., of Hasley, co. Warwick
  2. Fol. 104v. the foundation charter of St. Werbergh's, Chester, from a transcript made by Dugdale of the original in the possession of the dean and chapter
  3. Fol. 107. an inspeximus of the foundation charter of Maxstoke priory
  4. Fol. 119. thirty-one charters bought by Dodsworth from John Winkworth, esq., 'in officio clerici Pipe', 1641, concerning Ossulveston priory, and lands in Leicestershire and Yorkshire, followed by six deeds concerning grants to and from Richard i and John
  5. There is an index nominum, of which the last folio is out of order, on fol. iv by Dodsworth

Fols. 7, 22v, 31-44v, 61-2v, 78, 79, 86-7, 103-4 are by Dodsworth.

MS. Dodsworth 101, 1633-1638, 160 leaves: A continuation of MS. Dodsworth 98 (Inquisitiones post mortem for Yorkshire) to 38 Hen. viii, with an index nominum at the beginning.
