MS. Dodsworth 98, 1633-1638, 122 leaves: Inquisitiones post mortem for Yorkshire, 1-27 Hen. viii (fol. 1), followed (fol. 119) by a copy of a list of knights' fees belonging to William de Fortibus, earl of Aumale (d. 1260), of which a calendar is printed in Cal. of Inq. iv, no. 461. There is an index nominum on fol. iv.
MS. Dodsworth 99, 1648, 312 leaves: Copies of about 1,300 wills from York archiepiscopal registers, 1342-1568. There are two notes, signed by Thomas Talbot, stating that Daniel King forged and inserted two Wharton wills (fols. 28v, 35v).
There is an index nominum by Dodsworth at the beginning, dated 1644-7. Fols. 25-7, 39-end are by Dodsworth.
