MS. Dodsworth 57, 1640, 95 leaves: Extracts from Derbyshire inquisitions post mortem, Henry iii-Richard ii, and ad quod damnum, Edward ii (fol. 27) and Henry iv-v (fol. 73), in chronological order, with appendix at fol. 94v of entries transcribed from MS. Dodsworth 132, and a 'tabula alphabetica nominum virorum' at fol. viii.

MS. Dodsworth 58, 17th century, 150 leaves: A. Collections made c. 1590-1610, by John Hanson of Rastrick, or perhaps by his brother, Nicholas Hanson (see MS. Dodsworth 57, fol. iv):

  1. Fol. 1. Notes out of the court rolls and other muniments of the manor of Wakefield: interspersed with these are genealogical entries relating to the Eland, Thornhill, Savile, and Hanson families, and precis of deeds relating to Rastrick (fol. 1), Quarmby (fol. 53), and other places within the manor: notes of local antiquities occur at fols. 28-31v. Extracts by Dodsworth from this collection occur in MS. Dodsworth 117, fols. 157-62, etc., where it is cited as MS. AB
  2. Fol. 64. Notes from Coram rege rolls 'taken out of mr Agarde's booke'
  3. Fol. 78. Extracts from a feodary, 19 Eliz., stewards' tourns (fol. '94'), and other records of the honour of Pontefract
  4. Fol. 107. Estreats of court rolls, panels of jurors, and miscellaneous original documents relating primarily to Yorkshire: including a list of knights made by king James i in 1603 (fol. 120), and an autograph letter of directions to his steward from Thomas, lord Darcy (fol. 138)
