  1. (fol. iv.) 'Three lectures ... on ... Poisons, read at the College of Physicians on the 24th, 25th & 26th of August, 1749. By William Heberden, M.D...', wanting a leaf or two at the end: not autograph.
  2. (fol. 75) Two letters from J. Milles to lord Fairfax (Thomas Fairfax, d. 1782 ?) on travelling in France, of about 1740 (?): partly torn.
  3. (fol. 81). Two letters from David Laing to Douce, Apr. 21 and Oct. 4, 1831, with a list of contents of an Auchinleck MS. of ballads, and a letter from William H. Miller of Britwell to Douce, Nov. 8, 1831.
  4. (fol. 94). Parts of the customs of Oléron, a copy of fols. 1-14 of MS. Douce 227.
