Mil cccc soixante et quinze, par Dauid Aubert son escripuain indigne': Margaret of York married Charles the Bold duke of Burgundy in 1468 and died in 1503: she was sister of Edw. IV and Rich. III of England. The third of the four miniatures (fols. i, xvii, cxv, clv) represents her at a prie-dieu, with a coat of arms in the margin: and the scribe is probably depicted in the fourth, arms occurring both in this and the first. The fleurs de lys and furisons or briquets with flames on the binding are badges of Burgundy. See Waagen's Art Treasures (1854) p. 82.
