(fol. 1) At end:--'Ex pli cit. lamort. lo roi Artu', the last part of the Roman de Lancelot du Lac, in prose: prologue beg. Apres ce qe maistres . Gautiers Map': text beg. 'Quant boorz fu uenuz': at end 'Ci se rest ore atant. Meistres Gautiers Map. de lestoire de Lanc** [Lancelot] ...' As usual the original romance is ascribed to Walter Mape.

(fol. 65) At end:-- 'Ex pli cit la mort monsingnor . T[ristan]': beg. 'Or dit li Contes qe ne demora mie grainent qe li rois Marc auoit assegie le rois Artus dedens Kamaalot': ends 'Et de ce qil li done si grant priz.' This is apparently part of the second part of the prose Roman de Tristan, as enlarged by Hélie de Borron.

Custodial History

A paper fastened to fol. iv states that on Feb. 14, 1774, this MS. was given by the princess de Rohan to the prince de Soubise.
