Tales from the Gesta Romanorum, written in the 15th cent.
Comprises:
- (fols. 3 - 19, 25 - 34) Tales from the Gesta Romanorum, preceded by a few short theological pieces, cf. fol. 20: beg. 'De quatuor sororibus ... Agros in ciuitate Romana': ends (imperfect) with a rubric, 'De paupere promoto ab imperatore ...': some leaves are lost after fol. 25.
- (fols. 22 - 24, 35 - end) The Opus Parabolarum of Odo de Cerinton or Cheriton, here ascribed to Hugo de S. Victore: beg. 'Aperiam os meum': at end, 'Expliciunt Prouerbia magistri Hugonis de Sancto Victore', and a table of the '87' chapters, really 93. The last 25 are of doubtful authorship.
