Douce Manuscripts, written in the 15th cent.
Coprises:
(fol. 1). Provençal translation 'Aysso es lo sermo que fetz lo reueren maestre Vincen en la cioutat de Tholoza lo jorn del diuendres sanht. [April 15] miel ccccxvj. ont es enserida tota la substansa de la Passio de nostre senhor Ihesu Christ': at end, 'Explicit sermo magistri Vincencij [Ferrerii]...': on the text, 'Expedit unum hominem mori pro populo.' This is a translation from the Latin with many variations. Three short sermons follow on fols. 25 - 26a.
(fol. 25). Extracts [translated--E.W.B.N.] from the treatise of Laurentius Gallus on the Vices and Virtues, composed in French in A.D. 1279, but here exhibiting considerable variants: it begins with the chapter on Pride, but is imperfect at end, the last words being 'martirs predicarian (plus fort).' No name of author or title is here given.
