Made up of five MSS, with:
- (fol. 1) 'Dicciones Psalterij', imperfect at beginning: an explanation of words used in the Psalter: beg. 'Scriba id est magister, & est differentia.' At fol. 9v follow short notes, for a beginner in Latin, on the Psalms and Canticles
- (fols. 37, 58v) Rearrangements of the words of Latin Hymns, so as to make the translation easy for beginners: some similar notes are on fols. 34-6. On fols. 77b - 78v 117v - 118v, are two lists of Feasts 'tenenda in episcopatu Her[e]fordensi.'
- (fol. 53). A short English grammar: beg. 'How many partyse of speche ben ther ? viii.'
- (fol. 79) Rules of prosody about the quantity of vowels before consonants, in Latin: imperfect at beginning: beg. 'Ytalus, Amalech, etc. Excipiuntur nomina tertie declinationis.'
- (fol. 85) At end, 'Explicit Equiuocum quod R. P.', i.e. explanations of similar words: beg. 'Hic ponit auctor equiuocacionem huius diccionis Augustus.'
- (fol. 119) At end, 'Explicit Tractatus qui dicitur Pars Oculi de Latino in Anglicum translatus per fratrem Johannem Mirkes canonicum regularem monasterii de Lilleshull . cuius anime propicietur Deus. Amen': beg. 'God seith himself . as writen I fynde'.
