Medical recipes, treatise on urine and poetry, written in the 15th cent.
Made up of three MSS.
A. 1 (foll, 1, 37). Medical recipes, in English: beg. 'Ipocras this bok sende to the emperor Sesar': there is an index at fol. 3V to 209 recipes, of which 1-161, 163 (?)-208, are here.
B. 2 (fol. 25). 'Here begynneth Jugement of Vrinis': beg. '[V]rine is as moche to say as o thinge gadrid in the reynis': imperfect at end.
C. 3 (fol. 46a). A poem on lucky and unlucky days: beg. 'Yhe that welyie here of wytte', in six-line stanzas rhyming aabccb.
A few religious and other pieces are interspersed: and the names of John Crowe (fol. iii), John Wykkynges, of Horsham, co. Sussex (fol. vi), both 16th cent., occur.
