There are six full-page illustrations in pairs (at fols. 13v, 14r, 141v, 142r, 182v, 183r, 269v, 270r), very elaborately and finely painted, and coloured capitals, etc.
On fol. 13v are the arms, party per bend argent and azure, a bend divided lengthways counterchanged, in chief an angel (?) displaying a scroll gules: on fol. 14r are the arms of Guicciardini of Florence: on fol. 182v is 'M. N.'.
