'Index Bibliothecae Venetae sive Bessarionis Libri Graeci Rmi D. Cardinalis Niceni', copy of a transcript, written in the first half of the 18th cent.
This appears to be a copy of a transcript (made in 1606 at Augsburg) of Daniel Hoeschel's Index of Bessarion's Greek library.
The alphabetical indexes of Bessarion's Greek MSS. in the Library of St. Mark at Venice are followed by two of MSS: 1) in the Index but not in the Library, and (2) in the Library but not in the Index.
In Gaisford's Catalogue this and MS. D'Orville 398 have exchanged their (old) pressmarks.
