Latin manuscript beg. 'Aurelii Augustini contra Achademicos incipit liber primus [etc.] ...', written in the 15th cent. in Italy
Comprises:
- (fol. 1) 'Aurelii Augustini contra Achademicos incipit liber primus [etc.] ...'
- (fol. 45v) 'Aurelii Augustini de Vita beata liber incipit.'
- (fol. 61) 'Relatio Hyeronimi presbiteri de [Malcho] captiuo monaco': beg. 'Qui nauali prelio dimicaturi sunt.'
- (fol. 66v) The first part of the Vita S. Mariae Aegyptiacae (et Zosimae), the original Greek of which is attributed to Sophronius
The version of the Vita S. Mariae Aegyptiacae (et Zosimae)(beg. 'Fuit senex in Palestinae monasteriis', ends 'quia non pro humana ac uana gloria a me hoc fit' in chap. 11) is not the same as the one printed in Migne's Patrologia Latina tom. 73, col. 671 and the Bollandist Acta Sanctorum under April 2.
An erased inscription on fol. 1 seems to be 'Ex libris Card... villae' (16th cent. ?).
See (fol. 66v) for illuminated capitals.
