'Epistola prima [et sequentes] Albii Tibulli ...': with the usual epitaph and short life, and 'Saphos vatis Elsbie [sic] Mitilene ad Phaonem Siculum amatorem', Ovid's poem: at end 'Hec epistola fuit per Ovidium de Greco in Latinum translata', written in the 15th cent. (before 1453) in Italy
On fol. iiir is 'Munus concessum xxii Octobris mcccclii', with 'ex antiquissimo manuscripto' added, and the whole nearly erased, see fol. 56v. The date is a possible one for the writing as well as the gift, but the book would appear to have been written rather earlier.
