Yorkshire collections made by Thomas Beckwith, of York, in about 1755-90, all bearing his armorial bookplate (see MS. Gough Yorkshire 23). Copies of records relating to the families of Foljambe (pp. 1, 100), and of Reigate or Ragate of Stiveton or Steeton in the West Riding (p. 69):

  1. At p. 16 is a copy of 'an Historical account of the ... family of the Foljambs, 1704 ... by Nathaniel Johnston of Pontefract ...'
  2. At p. 121 is a draught of a letter from Beckwith to the archbp. of York complaining of the deputy-chancellor of the diocese, undated
