These are of considerable extent, and include church and parish notes, lists of incumbents, remarkable incidents, etc., chiefly of the 17th and first half of the 18th century: but unfortunately the order of parishes as now bound is haphazard, and there is no proper index (see MS. Gough Kent 26.2, fols. 239, 253).
