A miscellaneous collection of ecclesiastical papers relating to the diocese of Ely, and especially to the county of Cambridge, from about 1570 to about 1690, consisting largely of:
- 'Visitation bills', or answers from parishes to queries of the bishop of Ely at his visitations of 1593, 1622, 1638, and 1679
- Also of papers relating to wills, inventories and administrations, and to marriage bonds, with other ecclesiastical papers
- At fol. 241 is a probate of the will of Thomas Marcham of March, 4 Oct. 1693, on parchment
- At fol. 268 a long inventory of the goods of Thomas Bettes of Chatteris, 1579
