Miscellaneous papers (bound in about 1875-80), bearing on English history and topography. Some were written to the editor of the Gentleman's Magazine, some are 17th century records. Many were Gough's, and nearly all may have been, though the number in his own handwriting is not large. The chief items, out of a large number, are:

  1. Beauchamp (fol. 3)
  2. Neville (fol. 6)
  3. Pakington (fol. 23)
  4. Gough (extracts from the Bushbury registers, 1795, fol. 25)
  5. Smith of Knaresborough and Burnhall (fol. 38)
  6. Cobham (fol. 72)
