A transcript of part of Leland's Itinerary 1534-43, copied from the original in the Bodleian Library (nos. 5107-5112 in the Old Catalogue), including Leland's preface (or New Year's Gift) and Burton's letter of gift.

The copy extends to p. 123 of vol. 5 of the printed third edition (Oxf. 1769), ending with 'plenty of tyllage': and is in two hands, the older (of the close of the 17th century) ending at the first line of p. 249, and the second (of the beginning of the 18th century) succeeding at that point.
