Papers relating to the dispute between Launceston and Bodmin as to which should have the assizes held there:
- Fol. 1. a copy of the Act of 1670 transferring the assizes from Launceston to Bodmin
- Fol. 3. a petition to Parliament in favour of Bodmin, 1737/8
- Fols. 5, 13, 37v. drafts of cases against the claim of Bodmin
- Fol. 7v. 'The draught of the Bill brought into the House of Commons in 1737/8
- Fol. 11v. a copy of a petition from Launceston
- Fol. 23. three letters from Hugh Gregor to the hon. John Anstis, 4 and 15 Feb., 4 Mar. 1737/8
- Fol. 29. two letters from S. Molesworth to the same, 21 Feb., 11 Mar. 1737/8
- At fol. 32 are two letters about an old inscription over the west door of St. Austel church, 1778, with a facsimile of the inscription
