A collection of engraved maps of Great Britain, England, Scotland and Ireland, including coasts, canals, and other general maps (not of counties or particular places), with the following manuscript pieces among others (in the order in which they occur):

  1. Two drafts of W. Stukeley's 'Mappa Britanniæ faciei Romanæ', probably both by the author, one signed by him
  2. A third draft of the same by Carolus Bertramus, 1747
  3. A copy by W. Stukeley (1750) of the map of Britain and Ireland in the 1482 (Ulm) edition of Ptolemy
  4. An engraved copy of (a) (above) by C. Bertramus, on the back of a manuscript letter from him to Stukeley, 16 Oct. 1755
  5. A copy by Henry Peters of the map of Britain in the 1540 (Bâle) edition of Ptolemy in Latin
  6. A copy by Stukeley (1720) of Britain in the Peutinger Table
  7. A map by Stukeley (1724) of Britain in the Antonine Itinerary
  8. A draft of the old map of Britain (MS. Gough Gen. Top. 16, below), made in 1774 (?), with several proofs of the engraved map
  9. A copy of the map of Scotland in 'Arch. Seld. B. 10', olim 26 (O. C. 3356)
