  3. In no. 24 is an original paper signed by 'Anth. Craven', 'H. Hyde' and 'Charles Garrard', as deputy-lieutenants of the county, calling on estates in Seacourt (Cumnor) and North Hinksey to provide a soldier for the militia, 31 July, 1684
  4. Also a copy of a grant of land made by Reading abbey to enable John Leche to build an almshouse there, 10 Sept, 1475, with drawings of the abbey seal
