Manual offices and Constitutions, Written in the last quarter of the 15th cent. in Florence
Manual offices and Constitutions written for a nunnery of Franciscan Tertiaries of St. Onuphrius at Florence. Among the former are (all in Latin):
- Benedictions and order of professions (fol. 1(v))
- Visitation and unction of the sick (fol. 33)
- 'Ordo commendationis anime' (fol. 37v)
The Constitutions are:
- A papal document of 1289 (in Latin and Italian: fol. 7)
- Another undated from pope Clement, in Italian (fol. 28v)
- 'Indulgentie plenarie que habentur in quibusdam ecclesiis principalibus in urbe Roma ... quas sanctissimus pontifex Sixtus papa quartus concessit imperpetuum venerabilibus religiosis sororibus Tertii Ordinis beati Francisci habitantibus in loco seu monasterio sancti Onofrii alias de Fuligno. In ciuitate Florentie ... anno Domini Mccccolxxvj. die. xii. mensis Julij' (fol. 30)
At fol. 45 are '...li Ordini che anno a obseruare tutte quelle saranno acceptate in nostra congregatione', in Italian, added a little later.
