Hours of the Virgin, Written in the 15th century in France
Hours of the Virgin, according to the use of Evreux, preceded by a French calendar, and followed by:
- The Penitential Psalms with litany (fol. 75)
- The Office 'pro Deffunctis' (fol. 99)
- The Hours of the Cross and' de Sancto Spiritu' are worked in, at fols. 39, 40 etc.
There are many miniatures, with grotesques in the margin, and the calendar has illustrations of the seasons and zodiacal signs: a cannon is represented at fol. 85.
