'...Ordo Missalis secundum consuetudinem Romane Curie', Written in the last quarter of the 15th century in Italy
'...Ordo Missalis secundum consuetudinem Romane Curie', consisting of:
- A Calendar (fol. 1)
- Proprium de Tempore (fol. 8: the Ordinary is at fol. 115, the Canon at fol. 125)
- 'Proprium de missali', Sanctorum (fol. 173v)
- 'Commune Sanctorum' (fol. 223c), with Votive Masses, etc. (fol. 243)
Musical notes occur in the Ordinary in Holy Week. There are some fine small miniatures and large borders: fol. 7v is entirely taken up with the arms of Battista Zeno of Venice, cardinal 1468-1501, within a border, and on fol. 8r beneath a mitre are the 'arma dei Beruti antica Romanesca fondata sev in la cita d' Capō [Caprino ?)': these can only belong to Amadeo Beruti, bp. of Aosta 1515-25, and are presumably later additions: the mitre is certainly later than the rubrication of the text.
