'Tu es Petrus' [MWV A4]. Motet for 5-part chorus and orchestra, potentially composed 14 Nov. 1827
Copyist's manuscript, based on the autograph (Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Mus.ms.autogr. F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy 47), with the date "Berlin am 14tn Nov. 1827" at the end representing either the date of completion of composition or the presentation of the autograph as a birthday present to his sister Fanny.
Inaccuracies in the copying are indicated (though not corrected) by crosses in red crayon, presumably made by the composer. A few corrections have been made in pencil.
