Biographical / Historical

'La Guirlande de Julie' is a manuscript volume of poetry presented to Julie d'Angennes (1606-1671) by her future husband, Charles de Sainte-Maure, duc de Montausier (1610-1690) in 1641, and later published. It is now held by the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
