This was originally ORS (ME) Report no.17 of 1 July 1942, by Kendrew, which was very favourably received and issued separately. It is referred to in the correspondence, often as Kendrew's "Bible". Folder includes copy of NCUACS 11.4.89/R.17 as first issued, revised edition of 1 August 1943 and version issued by RAAF Headquarters Melbourne, n.d.
