Folder O.2. 1966, 1971-1972. Bernal, J.D. ("Sage"). Correspondence 1966 is on Kendrew's projected history of the beginnings of molecular biology. Correspondence 1971-72 is on arrangements for the Memorial Meeting for Bernal at which Kendrew spoke, and includes correspondence with Zuckerman.

Folder O.3. 1959-1960, 1963. Bernhard, S. Correspondence 1959-1960 is on research on trypsin, and myoglobin sequencing project.

Folder O.7. 1954, 1956. Crick, F.H.C. Two letters 8 February and undated [1954]. Letter of 8 February is (in part) a reply to Kendrew's of 26 January. Both are long letters on research in progress by Crick on ribonuclease and collagen, Kendrew on myoglobin, and other colleagues' projects. Correspondence 1956 is on myoglobin research, sequencing and staffing.

Kendrew's letter of 17 November 1961 refers to the first Fourier synthesis at 1.5Å; several letters 1962 refer to obituaries of W.T. Astbury by K. Bailey and Kendrew; correspondence 1965 is on amino-acid sequence of myoglobin, D.C. Phillips's work on lysozyme etc.
