Folders D.1-D.8: Natural Science Club.

The club, whose members were leading Oxford scientists, met once a term to dine and discuss matters of university or scientific interest. Richards was secretary 'for at least 15 years', resigning in 1976. The material is principally correspondence regarding meetings and membership.

Folder D.1: Natural Science Club, 1953, 1954, 1962.

The 1953 and 1954 items are letters of thanks from visiting members R.S. Mulliken and R. Livingston to E.J. Bowen, Richards's predecessor as secretary. Folder also includes ms. note by Richards about the club.
