Latin motets by English composers. Set of five part-books (Cantus, Quintus, Altus, Tenor and Bassus), late 16th cent.
This set of books was repaired in 1922 at the British Museum when fresh backs had to be provided although the covers were retained. Copied by a single scribe, employed by Edward Paston of Norfolk; the hand is similar to that of MSS. Tenbury 349-353, 369-373 and 1469-1471.
