Folders contain notes and essays relating to the study of English Literature, presumably mainly relating to Imlah's undergraduate years at Magdalen College, Oxford (1976-1979). Imlah appears to have continued to use/re-use and add to his notes; some appear to date to his later years at Dulwich College and some to date to his postgraduate/teaching years at Oxford (1979-1987).
