Manuscript pages compiled in preparation for possible publication, 1899-1906
The manuscript consists of notes apparently written in preperation for a book on floral morphology. There are incomplete drafts of an introduction and chapter on terminology and then circa one hundred sections consisting of notes and drawings of a particular species, or related group of species. These vary in completeness, some consisting of two or three pencil sketches while others contain numerous pages of detailed notes and pencil drawings. Some of the drawings are dated.
