Folder 1: 12 Pocket diaries, with few entries (appointments, addresses, short notes etc.), 1944 (marked 'Conference Ideas'), 1946-1950, 1952-1953, 1956, 1959-1960; small leather-bound notebook, containing notes on expenses, appointments, addresses, general notes, c.1941-1944; small red notebook 'Move R', containing notes and 'to do' lists on the move to 'The Hawthorns', c.1953. Also includes wall calendar 'A Country Town and its Villages, Buckingham', with some entries on visitors and appointments, 1988.
Folder 2: Two notebooks 'Garden Notes', n.d., with some related loose notes, correspondence and newspaper cuttings, c.1948-1966.
