General correspondence file, 1919, Sep 1930-May 1933
Correspondence file of N. Croom-Johnson (Parker, Garrett & Co.) regarding the Oscar Wilde literary estate (original letters and typescript copy replies) mainly regarding copyright, permissions and payments including many letters from Vyvyan Holland, as well as the Society of Authors, Inland Revenue and Metheun & Co. Ltd; also accounts with Felix Bloch Erben and Holland's annual indemnity insurance with The Employers' Liability Assurance Corporation [believed to cover him in the event that he assigned rights which did not in fact belong to him as, despite Robert Ross's attempts to sort out the literary estate, no one could be certain that Wilde had not disposed of certain rights during his last impoverished years in Paris]. In chronological order, with original folder.
