Immediate Source of Acquisition
Purchased in Feb. 1883 from the widow of C. Tischendorf through C. R. Gregory by the Delegates of the Clarendon Press for the use of Dr. J. Wordsworth as editor of the Oxford Novum Testamentum Latine (see that work, vol. i, p. viii note) and of Old Latin Biblical Texts (Oxford, 1886). MS. Lat. bib. e. 2 was given to Dr. Wordsworth by C. R. Gregory at the same time and was destined by him for the Bodleian. Given by the Delegates of the Clarendon Press, Sept. 6, 1913.
