Journal of W.P. Emerton, compiled mainly in Oxford, 1863-1915 (many gaps). The 1863 volume, the first that Emerton compiled, is badly damp-stained, but remains fairly legible. The 1898 volume contains pencil notes by one of Emerton's daughters on members of the family and others mentioned in the journal.
