Biographical / Historical

Gustavo Carulli (1801-1876) was the son of Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841). Like his father, he was a guitarist but also studied singing and composition with Paër and Isouard. He spent much of his life in Paris where he taught singing at the Paris Conservatoire. For more information, see Grove Music Online.
