Manuscript copy of the full score of the 2nd act of Carl Maria von Weber's opera 'Oberon' with words in German. The original libretto was by James Robinson Planché (1796-1880), after Christoph Martin Wieland's poem Oberon. The opera was composed for Covent Garden and first performed there on 12 April 1826. The libretto was subsequently translated into German by Karl Gottfried Theordor Winkler (1775-1856).
