Diaries, reports, correspondence, press cuttings, etc. The papers cover a great deal of his work in the Colonial Service. The first three boxes contain the diaries, both confidential and informal, that Lieutenant-Colonel Duncan-Johnstone kept as a matter of routine in his several capacities; although not a complete set, there are some for most years of his service to 1930. The remaining two boxes hold miscellaneous papers on specific subjects. A sixth box holds an album of newspaper cuttings received in 1988 from the Royal Commonwealth Society Library and some additional papers.
