- 1. Blackpool North Division Conservative Association, 1962-1993. Once Lord Aldington ceased to be an MP for Blackpool in 1962, he continued as President of the Association [c.1962-1982]. Also includes two Annual Reports of the Blackpool Social Service Council, 1974 and 1975, and some correspondence regarding his re-election as Patron, 1975.
- 2. Ashford Constituency Conservative Association, papers and correspondence, 1964-2000, covering Lord Aldington's time as President of the Association (from c.1965 to 5 Jun 1995). Includes papers relating to Bill Deedes (MP for Ashford, 1950-1974), Keith Speed (MP for Ashford, 1974-1997), and Damian Green (MP for Ashford, 1997-2000) [=Some material closed]
- 3. Correspondence with Sir Harold Grime, Editor of the West Lancashire Evening Gazette and the Blackpool Gazette & Herald, 1945-1984, and some correspondence with his family and secretary following his death in 1984. Includes some press cuttings, a photograph of Harold Grime, and 'Problems of the Peace', an address given by him to the Blackpool Rotary Club, 18 Oct 1945.
- 4. Wainright Conservative Club, Blackpool, 1974, folder includes: papers and correspondence relating to Lord Aldington performing the official opening ceremony for the new Wainright Conservative Club building on 25 Sep 1974, including Lord Aldington's speech, seven photographs of the event, and an article in the Evening Gazette, 26 Sep 1974. Also includes a copy of the 'Rules of the Wainright Conservative Club', and Lord Aldington's honorary life membership card and accompanying letter, 1977.
- 5. Blackpool Council for Voluntary Service, of which Lord Aldington was a Patron, meeting papers and correspondence, 1979-1994.
