- folder 8 (fols. 1-159, items 1-8) press cuttings, inter-office correspondence, Exploration Department reviews, and plans concerning investigations, mainly by Union Corporation, in the Bethel and Kinross districts; also, speculations about development in the area, both with the opening of the mines and to fill the vacuum left by their decline (contains handlist), 1945-1963.
